Girolamo Frescobaldi - Canzona Terza a Basso Solo (1634) - A Realisation Proposal

Girolamo Frescobaldi's (1583-1643) Canzoni da Sonare (Venezia, 1634) features three enigmatic pieces for a bass instrument with continuo accompaniment. Playing such Canzoni on the organ or the harpsichord requires advanced compositional skills as the Basso per l'organo part is nearly identical to the instrumental Basso part. I  would like to present here my attempt to reconstruct a 4-part canzona on the Canzona Terza. Inspiration is taken from several compositional techniques found in Frescobaldi's keyboard works.
